We’re all busy. And life keeps speeding up. But to regulate our nervous systems, we need more than willpower—we need support, reminders, friends, a field. Grounded Wonder is a shared practice of remembering: remembering the body, remembering Self, remembering support, remembering to take a breath.

This isn’t coaching or therapy. It’s a pause—a context of becoming. A quiet return to the natural rhythm beneath the relentless noise of life. A reconnection to the mystery that orchestrates it all.

Hi, I’m Lisa

Twenty years ago, my doctor told me I needed to slow down. I thought he didn’t get me. What I needed—surely—were three more hours in the day and a world that cooperated.

Two years later, I was in a wheelchair, with pain cascading through my joints in relentless cycles. I moved in and out of disability for 15 years. And I learned to slow down. I learned to be in my body, even when it hurt. I learned more than I can write here—but not more than I can share.

This space exists because slowing down became my passion.
Embodiment continues to be a series of revelations — ones that transform my ideas into lived experience and make wholeness, belonging and wonder available.
Intentional coherence has improved every relationship I have.

And so, I practice—and invite you to join me.
I’m very good at this (not perfect!). You can be, too.

How to Work with Me

  • Short Daily Emails

    A single intentional breath each day is more powerful than you can guess. I believe if you commit to just one, you’ll be surprised how fast it effortlessly multiplies. It’s a too-small-to-fail meditation practice, and this email series will get you started.

  • Cultivating Calm

    An 8-week journey to come home to the body, align the nervous system, activate resources and encounter life with reliable resilience and inner and outer calm. Twice per week you receive a 5 minute video, with prompts and practices that are easy to implement.

  • 1:1 Wholeness Reflections

    Embodied and present, these sessions remind us of the larger context of becoming, including individually-tuned practices and reflection that doesn’t dismiss our daily struggles, but resources them in the wholeness that you are.

  • Organizational Consulting

    Combining relational awareness and organizational excellence, these hour-long teambuilding sessions or ½ day organizational resilience workshops can take your organization to the next level of both harmony and function.
